a little late today

I've been trying to send out more mail and packages lately - not just for Christmas but in general.  It's so nice receiving packages in the mail and letter writing really is an art.  I wrote a letter to a friend a few months ago and it was as real awakening to see how horrible my handwriting is, I'm just so out of practice.  The other day I received a letter (!) in the mail and a sweet handmade jug cozy.  So fun!

I'm taking advantage of my last few half days to visit some out of the way thrift stores - a got a few things today.  One being the Manhattan soundtrack on vinyl.  I saw it the last time I was at the store but didn't get it and have been regretting it ever since. It was there today so I took that as a sign.

Finally, I picked up this Sweet Pea t-shirt for Aslan.

I wasn't sure he'd like it but he does and I'm happy because he looks pretty cute in it.
