welcome 2012

Happy New Year! This year our celebrations were a little more low key than usual - just the four of us ringing it in quietly at home. Brent's mom has been in the hospital so we didn't feel super festive but had a special night anyway.

Our treat for the day was seeing Tintin and it was amazing! The animation was incredible and they did an excellent job of bringing one of our favourite heros to life. When we got home the boys and I hastily made a little decoration for the night.

The boys chose dinner - buffalo burgers and oven fries, followed by ice cream sundaes.

I'm off to a workshop all day today.  Enjoy the day off everyone!
